Aromatic Brown Jasmine Rice is an easy recipe made up of jasmine rice, cinnamon stick, garlic, onion, peas and spices. Brown rice is comparatively healthier than white rice; the outer layers in white rice are removed, so most fibres and nutrients are stripped away. Eating brown rice keeps your blood sugar low, rich in B vitamins, folate, iron and magnesium. This brown rice recipe is easy to make but it takes time. - 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 small onion
- 2 piece cinnamon stick
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 cup peas

How to make Aromatic Brown Jasmine Rice
Step 1 Cook brown rice
In a pan boil, rice, 4 cups water, cinnamon stick, and 1/2 tsp over medium flame. Cook on a simmered flame for about 40 minutes by covering the pan with a lid to let the rice cooked.
Step 2 Fry onion, garlic and peas, mix it with cooked rice
Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat . Add garlic and garam masala, and heat the pan for 30 seconds. Add onion and remaining salt to the mix and reduce the flame to low. Cook it for 5 minutes. Now add peas, and cook for 3 minutes more. Remove cinnamon stick from rice. add rice into onion mixture, and cook for 5 minutes more. Serve hot.
