An Axe is one of the many tools in Minecraft. The Axe is used to chop down trees and remove the surface layers of specific blocks in the game. Axe can also be used as a Melee weapon and allows enchantments like Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Sharpness, and Fire Aspect, enchantments mostly reserved for the Sword.

Here are the items you’ll need to craft an Axe:

• 2x Stick
• 3xStone or Ore or Wood(any variant)
• Crafting Table

How to craft an Axe in Minecraft

#1 Crafting Sticks

Sticks can be easily acquired in Minecraft by simply punching down some dead bushes in the desert or leaves from trees. You can also get sticks by using wooden planks or bamboo.

#2 Acquiring Stone or Ore

Axes can be diamond, Gold, Iron, Neherite, Wood, or Stone. To craft any axe, you’ll need three ingots, or 3 diamonds, or 3 stone, or 3 wooden planks.

#3 Crafting an Axe

Once you’re done collecting the materials, simply toss them up on the crafting table as shown in the recipe above, and you’ll have crafted your own Axe.

Depending upon the ore or wood you used, the axe will have different durability. For wood, it is 59, for stone 131, iron 250, Diamond 1560, Golden 35, and Netherite 2031!
