I'm lucky enough to actually have a tin of this salt of yours and I LOVE IT!!! So good in bloody marys and potato salad and deviled eggs and EVERYTHING! My Hubby hates the texture of celery too but he LOVES this salt."

Celery salt can be a pricey in the stores. I can't imagine why? I mean it is just celery, celery seeds, and salt... those things are pretty cheap right? With this recipe, you can make a big batch, inexpensively!
I use this pantry staple in salad dressings, on popcorn, cole slaw, potato salad, egg salad, homemade cocktail sauce, pot roasts, Chicago-style hot dogs, Bloody Marys, and more.
It really gives a big flavor pop! This homemade version gives twice the flavor and punch as the store-bought version. It is worth the effort to make it homemade. I hope you love it. Enjoy! Xoxo ~Katie.

Can you dehydrate celery in the oven?
You can dehydrate celery in the oven. However, it will use a lot of energy. For this reason I recommend using a dehydrator.
To dehydrate in the oven, heat oven at 150 degrees. Arrange celery on a parchment lined baking pan until dry (about 6 to 8 hours.) Remove from oven and cool before processing in the blender or food processor.
