The story of Grandaddy Mimm’s moonshine began a hundred years ago in the North Georgia mountains. It involves a secret recipe, a few close calls with the law, and a man named Mimm. Our legendary moonshine recipe has been in the family since the Great Depression and we’ve been making it the same way our relatives did when they were bootlegging under the light of the moon.

The man Mimm was known all around town for his generosity and goodwill, and we like to keep that part of the legend alive, too.
