How To Make Stale Tortilla Chips Crunchy Again - StillTasty
Maybe your like
An opened package of tortilla chips will generally stay crunchy for about 1 to 2 weeks. But what if tortilla chips (or nacho chips) become stale before you get a chance to finish the package? It’s easy to revive those stale tortilla chips and make them crispy again. Here’s how:
In the oven or toaster oven:
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spread the stale tortilla chips on a single layer on a baking sheet. Place in the oven for three to five minutes, or until crisp.
In the microwave:
Line a microwave-safe plate with paper towel. Place the stale tortilla chips on the paper towel and heat on high power for 15 seconds. If still not crisp, repeat in 10 second increments until done.
