Everything You Need To Make Stone Slab 

To make a stone slab, you need to place 3x stones in the middle row of  a 3x3 crafting table. Within seconds, Your fresh stone slabs will appear on the right side of your crafting grid. From where you can move them to inventory.

How To Craft Stone Slab

Open Your Crafting Table

To initiate the process of crafting stone slabs, you should open your crafting table first.

Just go near your crafting table and right click on it. This will open a 3x3 crafting grid as you can see in the image below.

Note: Before moving to the next step make sure you have enough stones in your inventory. However, if you don’t have enough, just grab your pickaxe with a silk touch attached to it and mine grass blocks. You can find them 4 to 5 blocks under grass blocks. Just in case you don't like mining. Use a furnaceand add cobblestone.

Add 3x Stones Into Crafting Table

Once you have enough stones in your inventory, you can move to the next step. In this step, you should place 3x stones in the middle row of a 3x3 crafting table.

Displacement of stones to any other row won’t get you desired results.

Move Stone Slabs To Inventory

The above process will result in 6x stone slabs on the right side of your crafting grid. Now is the time to move them to inventory.

Just drag and drop them to inventory and you are done.

Repeat the process again and again to get your desired number of stone slabs.
