1. Wash Your Hair

You will achieve the best curls when your hair is damp. So start by washing your hair with your everyday shampoo and then use a conditioner that adds volume and minimizes frizz. Once done, gently towel dry your hair while it's still moist.

2. Make Use Of Sea Salt Spray

Using sea salt spray helps in getting wavy or curly hair texture. All you need to do is spritz it on your hair and then use your fingers to distribute the product evenly, right from the roots to the tips. This spray with its active agent adds texture and volume to your hair.

3. Use A Heat Protectant

When you use a heat protectant, it shields your hair from any sort of heat damage. Heat can dry out your curls and further cause frizz. It also helps in drying your hair faster when you use a blow dryer. Work this all over your hair and protect it.

4. Prep For Blow Dry

While using a blow dryer, if it has a diffuser, attach it, as it disperses airflow in a single direction. By doing this, you can get tight curls. It adds volume and reduces frizz and lets you style your hair the way you want to.

5. Curling Your Hair

When you are using the dryer, start scrunching your hair and lift it up. Aim the dryer at the roots and then move upwards while still holding your hair. This way your hair will shape up into curls. As your hair starts drying, you can use salt spray again. Continue scrunching your hair till you get the best results.

6. Styling Curls

When you are blow-drying your hair, you can also create waves by twisting your hair into smaller sections while blasting warm air. This will give you more defined curls.

7. Finish It Off

Once you are done curling your hair, use a pomade or a mousse for a better hold and texture. Use it directly on your hair or spread it on your palms and then use it. Run it gently with your fingers on your hair. Since salt sprays have a medium hold, using pomade can help add the final touch to your hair.
