We are about to talk about something that's personal and no we aren't going to talk about your relationship turmoils or your family problems. Something a lot more personal than that! Groin odor- yeah, we are humans and it exists and we all know that this is happening to us!
The only problem is that you wouldn't feel like going to a doctor about this problem, but don't worry we have a few solutions for your problem-

Shower. That's All.
Shove your hands in there, and clean it. Don't just rinse it. Sure, you're subjecting a body wash/shower gel to your scrotum daily, but that's not enough. Grab a wash cloth and rub (scrub) it all over. A wash cloth, not a hand towel—there's a whole world of difference. You could obviously pick the loofah next, but chances are, you'd find it too rough. So let it be, a wash cloth will toss all your dead skin cells away anyway.
Shower Post A Workout Too.
This may sound uncanny, but most men don't take showers post workouts. Maybe because they're lazy or just plain unhygienic (and that's not cool). Sweat is the most common odour-causing element up your crotch, which is obviously produced in plenty through a stressful (or not) workout. Point being, you need to knock out sweat before it's too late.

And Post The Shower, Dry Yourself.
It's simple—grab a clean towel and rub yourself dry. Since moisture, ideally, is a crucial combo to bad odour in your sack, ensure you're wading it away by towel-drying yourself. Plus, post that, allow yourself to air dry for a few minutes too.
Stuff Cooling Powders/Creams Up There.
Dead sure you're into nothing but putting clothes on post a shower. All of us are. But, don't be proud of that. You need to sprinkle some moisture-wicking powder or apply a soothing/cooling cream up the gonads, right after you're done drying. These products will prevent wetness and chaffing up your crotch, resulting in desert-like dryness all day long.
Manscape Daily.
A lot of moisture gets sucked into your bush daily. Which, eventually, produces sweat and turns into a breeding ground for odour-causing bacteria. So be smart, and shave it. Right from the roots (using a razor/trimmer), and all the way over. Besides, this would also eliminate chances of a prickly jock itch.

Just Wear The Right Underwear. Literally.
If your balls are your #Bros, drape them in cotton. But in an ideal situation, a good cotton-polyester blend underwear would be the perfect fit for you. Of course, cotton absorbs moisture easily, but now with the presence of polyester, it'll also drive the moisture on top of the fabric—allowing it to evaporate. Secondly, more room means better breathability, which means less sweat. So try wearing boxers/pyjamas whenever you can. Or if nothing, carry an extra pair of undies to change in the day.
Fix Your Jock Itch. That's All We're Saying.
In textbook knowledge, jock itches are fungal infections. Maybe very minor, but if not looked into, can really turn awry. Plus, are great production houses of bad crotch odour. Point being, grab an anti-fungal cream and treat the itch. Don't sit it on for days and wait for it to worsen.

Lose Weight For Your Own Good.
Not every guy is fit or toned to the gods. A lot of us are obese, bigger than usual or just plain overweight. More weight means more fat/scraggly skin in and around your sack. Which to be honest, does result in excessive friction, eventually again, producing sweat. Result? Bad odour. So basically, chop the junk off your life (the food, we mean).
And If Nothing, Use Simple Home Remedies.
Rule 1 of kicking bad sack odour, is to control/balance the pH level of it's skin. Options such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Baking Soda, Lemon juice, Tea Tree Oil will do the trick for you. Read more about how to apply them, frequency and tenure. Or well, just consult the doc.
Lastly, Don't Stress.
Stress and anxiety do trigger your annoying sweat glands. More the sweat, more the number of bacteria, more bad odour. Just chill the hell out and live life king-size, bro.
Having smelly balls is natural and human but not doing anything about it isn't. All you need to do is take a little care of yourself and up your hygiene game. As now you exactly know how to prevent crotch odor, just don't ever put cologne down there and make the part of the above solution of your daily routine.
