Since I couldn’t find a quick summary version of this anywhere I figured I would leave this here for others in the future. These steps are for the Alliance side, I don’t know the Horde travel routes to getting to Legion Dalaran or Moonglade. If someone with that knowledge could leave it in a reply that would be great. In order to purchase the Tome of the Wilds: Mount Form we need to get into Dreamgrove. As a boosted druid, you’ll have the dreamwalk ability, but the portal to the Dreamgrove area will not work for you. So you need to complete a short quest line to get to the Dreamgrove and it starts in Legion Dalaran with the quest To Moonglade. From Stormwind mage’s tower, take the portal to Azsuna, then fly to Dalaran (you’ll see the To Moonglade quest marked there). When you arrive in Dalaran the quest giver will pop-up next to you to give you To Moonglade quest. Accept this and travel to Moonglade. To get to Moonglade from Legion Dalaran, take the portal back to Stormwind from the Greymane section. Once in Stormwind, head to the docks and take the portal to the Darkshore region. Once in Darkshore, fly to Moonglade to turn in quest. In Moonglade complete Call of the Wilds and its follow-up The Dreamway. You will then get the important quest To the Dreamgrove. Complete this quest and you will end in Dreamgrove. In Dreamgrove, the merchant Amurra Thistledew, is in the northern part of the region and walks in and out of a tree that has been hollowed out to make a building. Wowhead for the npc can give you a specific location. She has the Tome for the rideable mount form, treant florm, Flap ability (moonkin slowfall) and Befriend Animal spell. Enjoy being a mount in the maw!

Pretty sure you can just straight up go to moon glade and buy this. I don’t even think you need to do the quest chain. There is a vendor in moonglade who sells this Tome.

Boosted toons, just cast dreamwalk and use the Moonglade portal.

Nonboosted: select legion chromie time and then use the moonglade portal.

If it does not let you shift to the rideable flight form after buying it from Moonglade, Try the barber shop and see if it is selectable as the flight form.

Does this form still require the Legion achievements?

I believe so for the account . I know I did the quest line and my alt druid on a different server was able to get the rideable flight form.

On a boosted toon when you Dream Walk, not all of the portals work. If you want to go to Moonglade you may have to get there manually. And no, you don’t need any of the Legion achievements on the toon, as mine had none and hasn’t done any of the legion content aside for the quests mentioned above.
