Honey, jam, pickled mushrooms, or vegetables are often stored in screw-top jars. But sometimes they are screwed so tightly that opening a simple jar of jam becomes a real challenge.
5-Minute Crafts would like to show you 5 methods that can help you easily open a stubborn jar.
1. Duct tape
© 5-Minute Crafts / YouTube- Take wide household duct tape and cut off 6 inches of it. Attach half of the tape to the lid so that it covers a third of its side and part of the top.
- Fold the other half of the tape along the long side, making it into a lever. The folded half of the tape should be directed counterclockwise.
- While holding the jar with your hand on a firm surface, pull the tape toward the lid, counterclockwise.
- The jar should open.
2. A stationary rubber band

- Put a rubber glove on your hand and try to unscrew the lid.
- The jar should open.
3. Hot water
© 5-Minute Crafts / YouTube- Fill a deep or wide bowl with hot water. Turn the jar upside down and place it in the water.
- Take out the jar after a few minutes. Be careful not to burn yourself.
- Let the jar cool slightly and try unscrewing the lid.

4. A kitchen spatula

5. A hair dryer

- Take a napkin, put it on the lid, and try to unscrew it.
