Can you play Blu-ray on Xbox Series S|X?
-
You can play Blu-ray on Xbox Series X, but not Series S. The Xbox Series S doesn’t have a disk drive, so there’s no way for you to play Blu-ray.[4] But, the Xbox Series X does have a disk drive, so if you’ve got Blu-ray films you’ve been dying to watch, you’re in luck. Unfortunately, neither of the consoles supports 3D Blu-ray, so you’ll need another device if you want to watch 3D Blu-ray films.[5]
Frequently Asked Questions
