How to Play in Stretched Resolution Valorant?

If you want to play stretched resolution in Valorant, there’s only 1 legitimate way you can do it, and that is if you tweak the graphics card settings. You’ll have to set up your own resolutions to play Valorant in on your GPU settings, so next, we’ll check out how to play stretched resolution Valorant for NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel GPU users.

Setup Valorant Stretched Resolution for NVIDIA GPU Users

If you’re using an NVIDIA graphics card, then this solution to set stretch res in Valorant is for you. Depending on your settings, especially if you have TenZ’s settings, you may have a different approach to set custom resolutions to get that Valorant stretched resolution.

Nevertheless, here’s how you can set a stretched resolution if you have an NVIDIA GPU:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel
2. Select Adjust desktop size and position on the left
3. Check the Aspect ratio option
4. Make sure Override the scaling mode is turned off
5. In the Preview section, select the highest resolution and refresh rate
6. Click on Apply, then search for Manage 3D settings on the left
7. Make sure the DSR-Factors option is OFF
8. Select Change resolution on the left
9. Click on Customize
10. Make sure Enable resolutions not exposed by the display is turned off
11. Click on Create Custom Resolution
12. Change the Horizontal pixels and Vertical lines for a stretched res
13. Recommended stretched custom resolution: 1440x1080, 1280x1024
14. Click on Test, then click on Yes
15. Select OK
16. Open the Valorant game and open the Valorant settings
17. Select the Video General tab, and set the resolution to the custom one you made
18. Click on Apply

Setup Valorant Stretched Resolution for AMD GPU Users

If you’re using an AMD Graphics Card, then this solution to set stretch res in Valorant is for you. 

1. Make sure you download the AMD Radeon graphics app
2. Right-click on your Desktop and open AMD Radeon Software
3. Press the Settings Gear icon on the top right
4. Select the Display section
5. Click on Custom Resolutions and click on Create New
6. Set your stretched resolution on the top
7. Recommended stretched resolutions: 1440x1080, 1280x1024
8. Set the Timing Display option to your stretched resolution
9. Click on Create and Save the resolution
10. Open Valorant, then open the Valorant settings
11. Select the Video tab above, then the General tab a bit below
12. Change the resolution to your custom one, then select Apply

Here’s how you set a stretched resolution if you have an Intel GPU:

1. Make sure to download the Intel Graphics Command Center
2. Open the Intel Graphics Command Center app
3. Select the Display option on the left
4. Make sure you’ve selected the General tab
5. Click on the plus located right after the Resolution option
6. Select Okay if asked
7. Set the Width and Height to your stretched custom resolution
8. Recommended stretched resolutions: 1440x1080, 1280x1024
9. Set the Refresh rate to how much your monitor can handle
10. Click on Okay
11. Open Valorant, then the game’s settings
12. Select the Video tab, then the General tab
13. Change the resolution to the custom one you set
14. Click on Apply
