Printing is one of those things you would think mankind has moved away from, or left behind completely, at least. Sadly, from time to time, we might end up needing a print or two, especially when it is an important email that requires real, human interaction. If you are wondering how you can print those emails directly from the iPhone and iPad Mail app, then we will walk you through the whole thing.

Note: This tutorial requires you to have a printer that is compatible with Apple's AirPrint protocol. 

Tutorial

Make sure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your AirPrint printer. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi in order to connect right away.

Step 1. Launch the Mail app and find the email you want to print

Step 2. Tap on the Reply button at the bottom, revealing a bunch of options such as Reply, Reply All, Forward, Archive and more

Step 3. Scroll all the way down and you will see the Print option

Step 4. Tap on the Printer option at the top to select the printer you want to use in order to get the printout from

Step 5. Once the printer is selected you will be taken back to the Print page, tap on Print at the top right hand corner and away you go printing your email

You have the option to print all pages or just one of them using the Print option. It is entirely up to you how you go about this. Thankfully, things have improved a lot with iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 and we expect the printing experience to go through smoothly with more options at hand.
