- The Spectrum Logo will appear once again followed by a range of 9-10 green to yellow boxes that will appear on your screen next.
- Now you should see Downloading or Initializing Application written on your screen.
- Your receiver should turn off after this.
- Now wait for a couple of minutes and switch it back on by pressing the button on the cable box or using your remote.
- Once the receiver is switched on, you’ll receive a message: "Stick around, we're setting things up for you."
- You may see a countdown in some cases however, it isn’t necessary.
- The message will change to "Retrieving Channel Info, please wait while we acquire channel info."
- You’ll see Live TV displayed on the screen once the cable box has been rebooted.
Refresh your cable box via My Spectrum App
If a picture does not appear on your TV, try refreshing your cable box via My Spectrum App.
- Switch on your TV.
- If your receiver is powered on, you’ll see “Spectrum” pop up momentarily on your screen
- After this, the cable box will turn off and the power light will dim slightly.
- Login to your account
- Choose the Service tab
- Click on TV
- Click on Experiencing Issues
- Now Select Reset Equipment and follow any instructions if prompted.
