Redeeming Fortnite Gift Cards Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model

Use this information when you want to redeem a Fortnite Gift Card for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Important: While Fortnite Gift Cards are replacing V-Bucks Cards, you can still use and redeem your V-Bucks Cards at https://www.fortnite.com/vbuckscard.

Overview

Use Fortnite Gift Cards to add real money to your Epic Games account balance to purchase V-Bucks, Fortnite Crew, Packs, and other games and DLC in the Epic Games Store.

Fortnite Gift Cards must be redeemed through the Epic Games Website. They cannot be redeemed on the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console. If you are unable to redeem your gift card, please visit Epic Games' support for further assistance.

If you purchase V-Bucks through the Epic Games Store, you will not see them on your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch. Instead, you can spend the V-Bucks on the web Item Shop. Then, if your Nintendo Account is linked to your Epic Games Account, you'll see your purchased items in Fortnite on your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.

To use V-Bucks in-game on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch, purchase them directly on the Nintendo eShop.
