Remake in Valorant is a voting system that allows the remaining connected players to vote unanimously to end the game, usually after the first round. When the system detects that a player was AFK in the first round, the game ends in a tie. The option to vote for Remake appears in the second round, during the shopping phase, and is only available if the player disconnects.

To remake a match in Valorant, follow this step-by-step procedure:

  1. Open the team chat during the buy phase in the next match (press Enter on the keyboard)
  2. Type and send the following message “/remake
  3. A system notice will notify everyone that there will be a
  4. A voting system will occur in the next round.
  • If the remake is successful, the game will end in a draw.
  • If the vote fails, the match will continue.

After a successful Remake, all players return to the matchmaking queue. It's like the game would never happen — you don't lose any ranking points, and nobody gets a penalty (except maybe a player that disconnected. It's also worth noting that games that end by Remake are not recorded in the player's match history
