Things You'll Need

• Heavy duty soap such as Lava soap

• Water

• Washcloth

• Rubbing alcohol

• Cotton balls

Crayola art products are designed for and used mostly by children, though they can be used by people of all ages. Don't worry if your toddler decides to decorate her face with her new Crayola markers; you will be able to remove her artwork from her skin. Most Crayola products, including markers, are formulated to be washable, making stains easy to remove from a number of different surfaces—including skin—with the right stain removal products.

Step 1

Lather a strong soap, such as Lava, on a washcloth with warm water.

Stroke the marker stain with the soapy washcloth. Do not rub the stain as this may work the marker into the skin; instead stroke the cloth over the stain without too much force.

Step 3

Rinse the stain under running warm water to rinse away any ink lifted by the soap.

Step 4

Dab a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and press on the marker stain. Wait a minute before rinsing the stain under warm water. Repeat this process until the stain is gone. Again, don't rub the stain with the cotton ball, dab only.
