We’ll give you multiple ways to remove pencil from your painted or wallpapered walls without damaging them or taking any paint off. Read on for expert-backed tips on how to clean your walls fast.

Best Way to Get Pencil off of a Wall

Fill a bowl with warm water and dish soap, then use it to wipe away the pencil marks. If that doesn't work, dab a cloth with white toothpaste and gently rub it into the area. Wipe the toothpaste off with a clean rag. You can also use a damp non-abrasive melamine sponge to wipe away graphite and colored pencil marks.
