This wikiHow teaches you how to send a direct message to the Reddit admins in order to report a subreddit for violating the website's content policy, using Android.
Steps
1 Open your Android's internet browser. Reddit's mobile app doesn't allow you to contact the site admins. You can use a browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari to submit a report.
2 Go to reddit.com/contact in your internet browser. Enter this link into your browser address bar, and hit ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard. This will open Reddit's contact page. Advertisement
3 Tap message the admins on the contact page. This button is at the bottom of the list of options here.
4 Tap something else. When you're prompted to select an option under the "what is your issue?" heading, tap the something else button to contact the admins.
5 Tap content breaks Reddit's rules. This option will allow you to report a subreddit that's violating Reddit's content policy.
6 Select the reason why you want to submit a report. This page asks you which of Reddit's community rules the reported content is breaking. Tapping one of these options will expand a list with several courses of action you can take.
7 Tap please send us a message. This will open a new message, and allow you to report the subreddit to the site admins.
If you're not already signed in to your account, you'll be prompted to log in with your username and password here.
8 Select a subject for your report message. Tap the "subject" menu, and select a subject for your report on the drop-down list.
9 Write your report message in the message field. Tap the text field under the "message" heading, and explain why you want to report this subreddit to the admins.
Make sure to include the name of the subreddit you want to report, and a direct URL link to the content that you think is in violation of Reddit's community rules.
10 Tap the send button. This will send your report message to the Reddit admins. Admins will review the offending content, and take the necessary steps forward. Advertisement
