1. Introduction

This guide will walk you through factory resetting your Samsung HW-J8500R.

2. Reset TV SoundConnect

Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 5 seconds.

3. Delete paired device

Next we will remove the speaker from your paired devices.

4. Delete Paired Bluetooth Device

  1. Swipe down on your screen to access the menu.
  2. Hold down on the Bluetooth icon to bring up Bluetooth options.

  1. Slide Bluetooth ON if it isn't already.

  1. Tap the gear icon next to the device you wish to unpair.

  1. Tap Unpair.

  1. The Bluetooth device has now been unpaired and can be re-added if you wish.

5. Delete Paired Bluetooth Device

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  1. Tap Bluetooth. Note: Bluetooth must be switched on for a list of devices to display.

  1. Tap the "i" icon to the right of the device name.

  1. Tap Forget this Device.

  1. Tap Forget this Device in the dialogue box. Your device is no longer recognized by your phone or tablet.

6. Forget Bluetooth Device

  1. Click the Start button.

  1. Tap on Settings.

  1. Then click on Devices.

  1. Select Bluetooth & other devices from the left-hand column.

  1. Click the device you want to forget and click on Remove Device.

  1. Click Yes to confirm removal of your device.

7. Forget Bluetooth Device

  1. Open the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.

  1. Click on Bluetooth.

  1. Click the X next to the device you wish to forget.

  1. Click Remove to confirm.
