One of the best ways to enjoy watching movies or playing a game is to rotate your iPhone screen. However, some, don’t know how to rotate their iPhone 11 screen. This is too bad and can also become a pain in the neck when you have already turn the feature off on your device. Well, it’s no big deal if you can’t find the option to rotate the screen on your device.
In this post, we will be showing you how to rotate the screen on your iPhone 11. Also note that the method above works on other iPhones such as the iPhone X, XR, XS Max, and even the new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro max, and iPhone SE (2020).

How to Rotate Screen on iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone X
To enable screen rotation on your iPhone simply swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center. Now tap the Portrait Orientation Lock button to make sure that it’s off.
Why Won’t My iPhone Rotate?
Well, just like other smartphones, if your device Portrait Orientation Lock is turned on. This in effect will lock your iPhone’s display in the upright position. Now to know if your iPhone is in Portrait Orientation Lock, go to your Control Center and from there you can adjust your Portrait Orientation Lock.
How To Turn Off Portrait Orientation Lock On My iPhone?
To turn off Portrait Orientation Lock on your iPhone is not hard, we have already explained that above. Simple swipe up from the bottom of the display to reveal the Control Center. When you are there, tap the button with the lock inside the arrow circle to either turn off or on the Portrait Orientation Lock.
If you have an iPhone X, to open the control center, swipe down from the top right corner of your screen. Tap on the icon that looks like a lock surrounded by an arrow to turn off or on the Portrait Orientation Lock.

It can be annoying when your iPhone is not rotating. Many of us find it fun and amazing using the rotation, especially when watching movies, playing games, and many more. However, the Portrait Orientation Lock can be useful as well especially whenever you are in Bed and you don’t want your phone to rotate or even when showing pictures to your friends.
And also, since some apps are built to support landscape mode, I always keep my Portrait Orientation Lock on except when I’m using an app that doesn’t support landscape mode.
