  3. None of these work. Using a Macbook Pro M2. Power button is also a fingerprint reader. Pressing any combination of keys that includes the ‘Power’ button simply takes you to the user logout screen. The only options there are “Cancel’, ‘Switch User’ or ‘Enter Password’. There are no options for shutting down or restarting whatsoever. Pressing the keys certainly don’t automatically shut anything down. The only way to do that is holding the ‘Power’ button for like 8 seconds to do a force shutdown.
