If you are now spending your time shiny hunting in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, chances are that you may want to know how to soft reset your game to save some time.

The quickest way to soft reset Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl is to actually exit to the portable home console’s HOME Menu screen.

To do so, simply hit the HOME Menu button on your right Joy-Con or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, press the X Button, confirm that you want to close the game and then restart it from the portable home console’s HOME Menu screen.
