Inazuma is finally open for visitors, or shall I say, outlanders? The new update brings us new quests, stories, characters, and of course, puzzles! With that being said, one of the first major puzzles you’ll run into is just outside of Ritou.

The puzzle is part of the A Strange Story in Konda quest in Inazuma that falls under the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual chain quests. To initiate it, seek out the shrine priestess in front of a fox statue, just outside of the village of Konda. Talk to her and follow her instructions to start the chain quest.

The first part of the quest requires talking to villagers, a little fetch quest, and some exploration. Follow the quest objectives and you’ll eventually be given the key to the locked well behind the village chief’s house. Once you’re inside the well, that’s where the Byakko Plains shrine puzzle starts.

How to Complete the Byakko Plains Shrine Puzzle

Once deep inside the well, you’ll see a big shrine with a pattern in the middle. Pray to the lamp in front of it by interacting with it. This will start the shrine puzzle. Your goal is to use the lamps to recreate the constellation pattern you see in the middle of the shrine.

First Lamp

The lamp with one petal (the one you already interacted with to start the puzzle) is the first lamp. You can’t change this lamp so head to the second one.

Second Lamp

From the first lamp, head to the left of the shrine and you’ll see the second lamp. Make sure it’s set to four.

Third Lamp

To the right of the second lamp, is the third lamp hiding behind a tree. Set that one to five.

Fourth and Fifth Lamp

The last two lamps are pretty easy. To the right of the third lamp, you’ll find the last two lamps. Set the fourth lamp to three and the fifth one to two, which is its default setting.
