Once the cheat has been entered, the axolotl will spawn and appear in your world:

You will see the message "Summoned new Axolotl" appear in the lower left corner of the game window to indicate that the axolotl has been summoned. You may need to look behind you to see it.
TIP: The new axolotl will probably be headed in the direction of the nearest body of water, since it can only survive for 5 minutes (or 6,000 game ticks) outside of water before it will die.Congratulations, you have summoned an axolotl in Minecraft.
