I remember watching a tv show years ago which brought up the subject of two-way mirrors in ladies' fitting rooms, which apparently was quite a common thing, and ever since then I've been wary of going into them, and mostly avoid fitting rooms altogether. But I found out that there is actually a very simple way to test out whether any mirror is a two-way mirror or not:

If you place your finger against the mirror, there should be a slight gap between your fingernail and it's reflection. If there isn't any space between them, you're in front of a two-way mirror. Another way is to shine your mobile flashlight at the mirror. If it's a normal mirror, it'll reflect back, but if it doesn't, you'll clearly see the observation room behind the mirror.

**No Space = Leave The Place!**
