They were punctual in coming out to measure and their quote was competitive and undercut other local quotes we received - despite using superior products - so first impressions were very good.The team was very efficient with the build and even managed to squeeze us in before Christmas, which I really appreciated as we could use the space for the holiday. The team was professional throughout, very attentive to small details like cutting custom sized sheeting to cover small gaps with the house, weather sealing to make sure the space is watertight and cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day.My wife and I are absolutely amazed with the final build, which looks fantastic and has clearly been built to last. We’re spending more time in the backyard now and with the retractable screens, the space can be used year-round.Thank you again to the Urban Exteriors for an amazing job!

David Heath02:29 08 Dec 22Not sure why google asked me for review after years. The deck they built is quite good. Most staffs were very nice. There is only one worker (or their contractor) who is very rude. He is a little fat and with big tattoos. He asked for coffee for all staffs from me everyday, or he won't start the day's work. I had to make several cups of coffee for them every morning. If you really want to build with them, just make sure they don't send that fat tatoo guy and no coffee every day.

The build team of Paul and Jack did a great job and cleared up every day. The end result is great and a massive improvement. Also good was having one contact for pergola and glass fencing. Just waiting for my electrician to finish the downlights.

The workers were polite, efficient, happy to answer any questions and best of all they cleaned up the area at the end of each work day. Izzy, Gary, Adrian and all of the staff behind the scenes made phone and email contact easy throughout the entire process….. even with the latest COVID lockdown just before work began and restrictions throughout. Our old deck roof leaked and this one is keeping us dry with the bonus of being the envy of the neighbourhood….. we are glad that we chose Urban Exteriors!!

From the very first phone call to state our requirements in terms of the project and time schedule I was being listened to. That’s right, attention was being paid to understand the requirements & situation rather than being told “this is what we will do”. Over time this transformed into Urban Exteriors virtually taking on “ownership” of our problem and making recommendations, as they obviously have more experience than us in what was needed. YES! The most practical example was how proactive they were through the process and most importantly THEIR initiation of communication.Moving onto the quality of the workmanship, at the end of the 8-10 man day project, other than having a much better looking house from the outside & a full skip bin, you would not know that construction had taken place. From a quality control perspective, once everything was packed up and cleaned, even though it was late on a Saturday afternoon, the lead man did a trained eye scan then proceeded to make right some missed screws before leaving. That is professionalism in action.When my wife and daughter make comments about the guys on the job being considerate, polite & respectful, that speaks volumes to me.Urban Exteriors set the expectations, they delivered as set and exceeded our expectations.Okay, there has got to be something wrong; our dogs each found a decking spacer among the fern garden under the new decking. So they missed a couple :-)
