You're alone with a cute guy and the two of you start making out, but now what? If you really want to turn him on, all you need is a bit of confidence and a few tips. To help you out, we've put together some foolproof ways to turn a guy on while making out so you can make things extra sexy and steamy the next time you're alone together.

Steps

Part 1 Part 1 of 2:

Seductive Kissing Techniques

PDF download Download Article
  1. Step 1 Escalate the kissing gradually. 1 Escalate the kissing gradually. A good make out session progresses gradually. As you lean in to kiss, allow things to happen at their own pace. Pay attention to the man's reactions; try to get a sense of what he likes and dislikes. Start off at a slow tempo and then, as things get heavier, move quicker and start using your tongue, hands, and other body parts.[1]
    • Reader Poll: We asked 1488 wikiHow readers if using their hands while kissing makes the experience better, and 95% of them said yes. [Take Poll]
  2. Step 2 Use your tongue. 2 Use your tongue. Many people enjoy some tongue during making out. If the man you're kissing seems to enjoy tongue, then don't hesitate to use your tongue during the make out session.
    • If you want to allow the guy to take the lead, try opening your mouth slightly to show him you're interested. See if he initiates using his tongue.[2]

  3. Step 3 Tease him. 3 Tease him. Sometimes, some mild teasing can really turn a guy on. In the middle of a kiss, pull back slightly and pull his head away from your face. Pause kissing for a few seconds and then resume. Many men get turned on by mild teasing during making out.[3]
  4. Step 4 Kiss the neck... 4 Kiss the neck and ears. Men, like women, have erogenous zones throughout the body. These are areas that respond sexually to physical contact. The neck and ears tend to have a lot of nerve endings. Try gently kissing or sucking a man's ears or neck during making out. This can be a huge turn on.[4]
  5. Step 5 Touch a guy's face while making out. 5 Touch a guy's face while making out. The face is a sensual spot on a man's body. When making out, reach up and touch his face. Gently rub his stubble and rub his cheeks. Many men experience sexual pleasure through scalp massages, so try gently running your fingers through his hair as well.

Part 2 Part 2 of 2:

Using Your Body

PDF download Download Article
  1. Step 1 Smile... 1 Smile and maintain eye contact. Before you begin making out, keep eye contact steady. This will show a man you're interested and can help turn him on. Smile between kisses. A man will be turned on if he pulls away for a moment and sees you smiling.[5]
  2. Step 2 Touch his body. 2 Touch his body. Don't forget to use your hands when making out. Men will be turned on by gentle touching on the head, back, and arms.[6]
    • Run your fingers over his back lightly. If he's not wearing a shirt, consider using your nails. Some men enjoy mild scratching.
    • You can also touch his arms, legs, chest, and any other body parts that are easily accessible.
  3. Step 3 Use your whole body. 3 Use your whole body. Don't just use your face and hands during a make out session. Using your entire body can help turn a man on.
    • Lean into him as you make out. You can even push yourself on top of him or pull him on top of you.
    • Try wrapping one of your legs around his or rubbing your foot gently against his thigh.
  4. Step 4 Communicate. 4 Communicate. The best way for healthy physical contact is to communicate openly. Talk to your partner about what he does and does not enjoy. Being open about your physical desires can lead to more enjoyable, intimate kissing.[7] [8]
    • Many people initially feel uncomfortable when having to communicate about sexual desires. However, keep in mind open communication is an important part of any health sexual relationship.
    • Try starting a conversation by saying something like, "I really care about you and want you to enjoy our physical intimacy. Is there anything you enjoy when we're kissing I could do more?"

Tips

  • A good way to communicate and still be sexy is by asking "did you like that?" when you're not sure of your partner's reaction, and/or saying "I really liked that" or "do that again" or something like that. People shy away from communication because they think it kills this mood--it doesn't. A lot of the time, it can be really sexy. Thanks Helpful 42 Not Helpful 4
  • To maintain a good vibe while kissing, avoid acting desperate and go slowly but surely. Thanks Helpful 7 Not Helpful 0
  • When it comes to kissing and sex, you should only do what you feel comfortable with in the moment. While it's good to keep certain tips in mind, it's always best to go with the flow of things and do what comes naturally. Thanks Helpful 28 Not Helpful 7

  • Take it slow and gently escalate the intimacy. Quickly jumping into intense kissing can be a turn off. Build up the passion gradually.
  • Communicate openly about desires and boundaries. Mutual comfort and consent creates the healthiest physical intimacy.
  • Don't worry about running out of breath. Take deep breaths through your nose if needed. Rushing can ruin the moment.

If you want to take your makeout sessions to the next level, here are a few simple tricks you can try for turning your guy on. When you start making out with a guy, start out slow and gentle, then gradually increase the intensity. For instance, you might begin with a few light kisses on the lips, then move on to French kissing. You can also get creative and move beyond just kissing on the mouth. Try kissing his neck, jaw, or ears. Don’t be afraid to use your tongue a little, or even try lightly nibbling his skin with your teeth. A little teasing can be a big turn-on for a lot of guys, too. For instance, you might brush his lips lightly like you’re going in for a kiss, then pause or pull away for a moment instead. A really hot makeout session involves more than just kissing, so get the rest of your body involved, too. For instance, try caressing his face or slowly running your hands over his arms, back, or shoulders while you kiss. You can also get him going by pushing your body up close against his, climbing onto his lap, or wrapping your legs around him. Whatever you decide to try, pay attention to how your man reacts. If you notice him blushing, breathing more heavily, or leaning into your touch, he’s probably turned on. Make note of what he likes and try doing more of the same, or ramping up the intensity. If you’re not sure whether he likes something, just ask. Say something like, “Is that good?” or “You want me to keep doing that?” You can also ask him if there’s anything he’d like you to do. Don’t worry if it takes a while to figure out what really gets him going. Have fun exploring and figuring out what works for both of you. Did this summary help you?YesNo
