Starting in January 2021, closed captioning for the PBS app is now controlled through your Samsung Smart TV's main settings.

To turn on captions to watch videos with subtitles displayed:

From your Samsung Smart TV's Home screen, use your remote to select Settings.
Select General, and then select Accessibility.
Select Caption Settings, and then select Caption to turn captions on.

To turn off captions, repeat the steps above and select Caption again to turn them off.
