Stuck in New Pokemon Snap after unlocking Voluca and Maricopia islands? Here’s how to progress past Voluca and Maricopia and unlock the fifth island, Durice, in New Pokemon Snap. 1. Unlock All Courses on Florio, Belusylva, Voluca, and Maricopia

Raise each course for Florio National Park, Founja Jungle, Sweltering Sands, Fireflow Volcano, Blushing Beach (Day), and Maricopia Reef (Day) to Research Level 2 - this will in turn unlock all normal courses on each island.

2. Unlock Illumina Orbs for Florio, Belusylva, Voluca, and Maricopia

This is straightforward for most courses. Head to the Night version of the Park, Sands, and Jungle and photograph a glowing Crystabloom.

For Maricopia Lental Seafloor - Undersea, look for a sleeping Lumineon among the seaweed to the right early on in the course. Wake it with a fluffruit, then take a photo of the crystabloom it was blocking.

3. Unlock the Four Illumina Spots on Florio, Belusylva, Voluca, and Maricopia

Again, unlocking the Illumina Spot on Florio, Belusylva, and Voluca is straight forward - reach Level 2 for all courses on each island, and you'll unlock the Illumina Spots.

Maricopia needs a bit more. You’ll still need to raise the Lental Seafloor - Undersea course to Research Level 2. Then, do the course at Research Level 2 to unlock an alternate route. Watch the Clawitzer at the start of the course wander to a cave to the left - throw Illumina Orbs at it as it prepares to fire.

This will power it up enough so that it destroys the rocks here - scan this to choose the alternate path.You can also increase Undersea to Research Level 3 to automatically gain access to this path, but earning expedition points a long process. Completing the course through this path will then unlock the Illumina Spot for Maricopia. Snap a photo of this Illumina Pokemon to unlock the next island!
