It's important to check your meat's temperature before serving. Follow these 3 steps for proper temperature each time!

Directions

  1. Step1

    To test the thermometer to make sure it is calibrated, hold it in ice water for 30 seconds; it should read 32 degrees. 

  2. Step2

    Insert probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding fat and bone, while in oven or on heat source. 

  3. Step3

    Continue cooking meat and checking the temperature until the meat reaches the recommended temperature for desired doneness.
