This page is part of IGN'S Phasmophobia Wiki guide and details everything you need to know about how to use the global push to talk option, the Walkie Talkie.

How to Use the Walkie Talkie

Phasmophobia provides two in-game voice chat options: local push-to-talk and global push-to-talk, AKA the Walkie Talkie.

With local push-to-talk, you'll be able to hear your teammates (and vice versa) if they are within close enough proximity. As they get further and further away, you'll hear their voice trail off until you cannot hear them anymore. You can use local push-to-talk by pressing the V key on your keyboard.

Global push-to-talk, also known as the Walkie Talkie, is a great way to keep in touch with your team no matter how far apart you are. This comes in handy in larger maps such as Brownstone High School, the Prison or Asylum. You can use the Walkie Talkie by pressing the B key on your keyboard.

You can also use the B key to try and speak to the Ghost directly or via the Spirit Box. However, you'll need to be careful not to speak during a Ghost's Hunting Phase or risk getting their deadly attention.
