How to View or Change Your Friend Code on Nintendo Switch Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model

Follow these steps to view or change your friend code on Nintendo Switch.

Note
  • Friend codes are numbers issued to Nintendo Account users on Nintendo Switch. If you link the same Nintendo Account to multiple consoles, the same friend code is used for your account on each one.
  • You can use friend codes to send friend requests to other users.
  • If you change your friend code, you will need to wait 30 days before you can change it again.

Complete these steps

To view your friend code
  1.   2. Select ProfilePerfilProfilPerfil, and then check the right side of the screen to find your friend code. The user nickname highlighted on the profile section
To change your friend code
  1. Select your User icon (My Page) from the HOME Menu.
  2. Select User Settings, and then select Friend Settings.
  3. Additional information

You can also view your friend code in the Nintendo Switch App by selecting your user icon in the top right corner. The app can also display your friend code as QR code that other users can scan to send you a friend request.
