How To Watch UFC Fight Night: Blachowicz Vs. Rakic

Jan Blachowicz is back for the first time since he lost the light heavyweight title, looking to work his way back to contention in a headlining bout against Alexander Rakic at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 14 (5/14/2022).

UFC on ESPN 36: Blachowicz vs. Rakic will be broadcast on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. It can be streamed live on fuboTV, ESPN+ and other live TV services. The main fight card starts at 10 p.m. ET with ringwalk for the main event expected at 12 a.m. ET (Sunday), depending on how quickly the preceding fights go. Preliminary bouts start at at 7:30 p.m. ET.

In the main event, Blachowicz (28-9-0) steps back in the ring for the first time since his UFC 267 loss. He’ll take on the No. 3-ranked Light Heavyweight, “Rocket” Rakic (14-2-0), in a bout that was originally scheduled for March.

Blachowicz remains the only man in the UFC to beat Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, and he was on a 5-fight win streak before he lost the title. Rakic has won 14 of his last 15 fights, including his most recent win over Thiago Santos at UFC 259, more than a year ago.

“My hunger level is much bigger than before because I was the champion,” Blachowicz said at UFC Vegas 54 media day. “I know how it feels, and I know how to be the best in the world, and I want to feel it again.”
