Transfer funds from your Stash to your bank account easily

This is pretty easy, so I'll get straight to it.

On Cowrywise, you can only withdraw funds to personal accounts linked to your BVN. It's an added layer of protection, which ensures that funds can only be transferred to YOUR bank account. So, even if someone gains access to your Cowrywise account, they wouldn't be able to withdraw your funds. Solid, right? 💪🏽

How do you make a withdrawal from your bank account?

  • Go to Stash

  • Click on the three dotted icon at the top right of the page

  • Select the withdraw option

  • Click Got it on the information modal that comes up

  • Select your bank account or click on "add bank" and follow the instructions if your bank isn't added already

  • Enter the amount you want to withdraw and complete this process by inputting your Cowrywise PIN

Now, wait for your funds to be processed. Your withdrawal will be processed 24 hours after it is initiated.

We charge N25 for initial withdrawals from Stash. While there is no fixed limit on how many times you can use your Stash in a month, please note that any withdrawal after 10 times in a month attracts an N100 charge instead of the regular N25 for transactions below N50,000 and N50 for transactions above N50,000.

It is important to take note of this charge when making withdrawals to make the process seamless.
