You can use three methods to Zoom in on Google Slides and Zoom out on Google Slides. Keep reading to decide which method works best for you.
For this tutorial, the template we used is the Osaka Business Google Slides template. But you can follow along with any template.


Slide three is used in this tutorial. Here's what slide three looks like with no edits.


Method One
The first method is using the View menu to zoom in on Google Slides and zoom out on Google Slides:
1. View Menu


To start with this first method, click on View in the menu bar. This is on the top right and the third option from the left. The View option is in between Edit and Insert in the menu bar.
2. Zoom Menu Option


Click on View. When you click on View, a menu drops down. Next, click on the Zoom Menu option from the drop-down menu. The Zoom Menu option is the second from the bottom of the drop-down menu.
3. Click Zoom In or Zoom Out


After you click Zoom Menu from the drop-down menu, another drop-down menu appears. The last two options on this menu are Zoom in and Zoom out.
Choose the appropriate option for the slides you're working on (i.e. if you're trying to figure out how to zoom in on a Google Slide—click Zoom in)
Method Two
If you need to zoom in or out on Google Slides more than once, then you’ll need to repeat the steps below. So, if you do need zoom in and zoom out on Google Slides more than once, this method might not be the method for you.
1. Locate Zoom Button


Find the Zoom button on the toolbar. The Zoom button is the seventh option from the left in the toolbar menu. The Zoom button looks like a magnifying glass with a plus sign in it.
2. Click on Zoom Drop-down Menu


Next to the Zoom button is adrop-down menu. When you click on this menu, numerous options drop down.
The option might say Fit by default (which fits the presentation to your viewing area). Choose the option that you prefer.
3. Choose a Larger or Smaller Zoom
You get a number of zoom options here.
Choose the best option for you. Zoom in on Google Slides by selecting a higher number. Google Slides allows you to select a lower number to zoom out.
Fit will scale your presentation's view to fit your viewing area.


4. Click on the Zoom Button


If you want to Zoom in on Google slides quickly, click on the Zoom button that looks like a magnifying glass.
When you click on the Zoom button, you’ll notice that the button has turned yellow, and your curser turned into a magnifying glass. This means that the Zoom button has been selected.
Once you've selected this option and your cursor is a magnifying glass, you won’t be able to use the cursor for anything other than zoom. All you’ll be able to do is zoom in further on your slide.

To turn the Zoom feature off, tap the Delete or ESC button on your keyboard.
Another way to turn this function off is to click on the Select button that's next to the Zoom button in the toolbar. The Select button looks like a cursor.
You can't zoom out on Google Slides by clicking on the Zoom button. You can only zoom in on Google Slides with this tool.Method 3
If you like to use shortcuts, then this next method is for you. This last method is the fastest way to Zoom in on Google Slides and Zoom out on Google Slides.
For Windows PC Users
For Windows users, press Control, Alt, and + button at the same time. This causes you to zoom in on Google Slides.
To zoom out on Google Slides, you press the Control, Alt, and – at the same time on your keyboard.



For Mac OS users
For Mac OS users to zoom in on Google Slides, press Command, Option, and + keys together on your keyboard. To zoom out on Google Slides, press Command, Option, and – keys together on your keyboard.

2. Can I Download My Slides Presentation as a PDF?
Saving your Google Slides presentation as a PDF can help you share your presentation easily with others.
To save your presentation as a PDF, click on File in the menu bar. When you click on File button, select Download from the drop-down menu. Another drop-down menu appears. Click on the PDF Document (.pdf) option.
3. Can I Use my Microsoft PowerPoint Template in Google Slides?
You can, but you must open your presentation in Google Drive first.
To do this, click on the New + button. When you click on this button, a menu drops down. Next, select the file upload option. Then select the file.

4. Can I Insert Images Directly From Google Images on my Slide?
Yes. To do this, click on Insert in the menu bar. When you click on Insert, a menu drops down; the first option in that menu is Image. Select this option.
When you've selected the Image option from the drop-down menu, another drop-down menu appears. The second option from the top of the drop-down menu is the Search the Web option. When you click on Search the Web, a sidebar appears on the right of your window.
Type in the search bar the file name of the image you’re looking for and double-click the image to add it to your slide.
5. Can Insert Diagrams Onto My Slide?
Diagrams can be helpful to show data or facts that you want to compare.
To add a diagram to your slide, click on Insert in the menu bar. When you click on Insert, a drop-down menu appears. Next, click on the Diagram option from the drop-down menu. When you click on the Diagram option, a sidebar appears on right side of your window allowing you to choose which diagram is best to add to your presentation.
