Three Ways to Wear Your Packer
There are mainly three ways to wear your prosthetics. Each has its own advantages and considerations. Let's explore all options so you can find what works best for you.
🩲Harness / Straps
Secure hold for active lifestyles. Great for sports and physical activities.
👔Packing Underwear
Most comfortable for daily wear. Natural feel with many style options.
💧Adhesive
Most natural look. No extra garments needed. Perfect for intimate moments.
🩲Harness & Straps
Best For: Active Lifestyles
If you are very active, a harness or straps is a good choice. They keep the prosthetic in place and feel tight and secured. The straps may stretch during the day, so you may need to readjust them.
If you are not a standard body type (very skinny or heavier than usual), straps or harness may be uncomfortable as they may slide down or leave marks if too tight.
⚠️ Important Consideration
Due to additional straps, some trans men feel their dysphoria flare up. When choosing a harness, make sure you measure yourself properly and buy the right size. Quality matters — don't go cheap on harnesses.
Do's
- Measure yourself accurately before buying
- Choose quality products from trustworthy companies
- Try moving around (sit, stand, bend) to test comfort
- Wear underwear over harness for extra security
Don'ts
- Don't go cheap on harnesses — quality matters
- Don't wear a ring harness with hard construction
- Don't ignore discomfort — readjust or try different size
- Avoid leather straps if swimming
Packing Underwear
Best For: Daily Comfort
If you want to feel comfortable while working out, actively moving, or just doing daily things — packing underwear is the way to go.
The underwear is very comfortable, pleasant to wear, and feels natural. There are multiple design and fabric options: briefs, boxers, or whatever suits your style!
A secure fit is essential. We recommend TRUHK Packing Boxers to keep everything comfortably in place.
✨ Pro Tip
When using harness or underwear for packing, secure it in the natural position first, then put on your underwear. Check to make sure it's tightly attached and you're all set!
💧Adhesive Method
Most Natural Look
After extensive research, Emisil found materials with very good grip with medical adhesive. The prosthetics are made with an adhesion tab that attaches to the body with Silicone Medical Grade Adhesive.
The best part: You don't have to wear anything else to keep it attached. With custom color matching, it looks very natural — like a real penis.
Step-by-Step Application
Apply the Adhesive to the Tab
Clean the skin area first — remove hair and wash properly. Make sure the adhesion tab is also clean with no residue. Apply adhesive evenly to the tab, covering all edges without applying too much.
Position the Packer Properly
Attach your packer to the body and position it carefully. Try not to move it around for too long as the adhesive may start to cure. Let it dry for a few minutes, then clean any residue around the prosthetic.
Removing the Packer
Wear no longer than 8-12 hours. Use adhesive remover (water/soap won't work). Gently pull from the edge, clean the skin, shower, and apply moisturizer. Wash your prosthetic daily with soap and warm water.
Recommended Adhesives

Packing is a great way to fight gender dysphoria, although finding the most suitable and well-fitted packer might be intimidating, especially when you're new. The big question: How the heck do I wear it?

- FTM packing underwear recommendations
How to Wear a Soft Packer
Soft packers are made for everyday usage. They're comfortable for daily wear but can't be used for penetrative sex.
Noticeable Effect
- Position packer higher on your pelvic bone
- Try packing down — let it rest directly above the scrotum area
- Use a mirror and turn to the side to find the perfect look
🎯 Discreet Look
- Position the packer a little lower than you assume
- Align your stem with the packer, most should be between legs
- Position as close to inner thighs as possible
How to Wear an STP Packer
STP (Stand-To-Pee) packers have a special construction for urinating while standing.
📍 Find Your Position
Finding the right position takes time. Try it at home first until you're comfortable.
🚫 Don't Bend Upwards
Never bend your STP upwards — you'll damage it. Keep the shaft angled properly.
💧 Control the Flow
A smaller flow helps you stay clean. Stop from time to time to prevent overflow.
👖 Choose Right Pants
Your STP should be lower than urethral exit. Some pants don't have enough space.
Remember: When finished, there may be a few drops remaining. Lift the cup forward to empty completely before putting away.
💪How to Wear a Hard Packer
Hard packers (also called "pack and play") are made of firmer but flexible silicone. They're suitable for both packing and sexual penetration.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Hard packers are mainly worn positioned downwards — packing up may damage the product
- They're not as comfortable as soft packers for all-day wear
- Not suitable for STP function
- If using for penetration, use water-based lubricant
Plus Size Packing Tips
It can be challenging for bigger guys to find a suitable packer. Common complaints: the packer constantly moves, bulge seems either non-existent or way too obvious.
Nobody wants to spend money on something uncomfortable. Here are specific tips that work!
📍 Pack Lower
If you want a natural, proportionate bulge — pack lower than you think.
↔️ Side Position
If packer gets between your legs causing friction, position it to the left or right side.
🩲 Right Harness
Find a comfortable harness that prevents movement without tightening your belly too much.
🏊Packing While Swimming
Yes, packing while swimming is possible! Silicone packers are the best option — they handle water exposure well.
First Layer — Tight Briefs
Wear tight briefs with a tiny pouch for your packer. This is the most important layer.
Second Layer — Compression
Add compression shorts or harness. Make sure no leather parts if using harness.
Top Layer — Swimwear
Wear regular FTM swimwear (boxers, shorts) on top. You're ready to enjoy the water!
🧖 Sauna Friendly
Good news — you can wear your packer in the sauna! It won't damage your prosthetic.
🛍️Recommended Packing Underwear
Some underwear options aren't tight enough to hold your packer in the right place. Here are the best options:
RodeoH
Incredible variety that's cozy AND stylish. Many models, colors, and styles available. Creates less ride-up on legs for maximum comfort.
JOCKMAIL
Perfect for active, sporty guys. Hong Kong-based company with high-quality, stylish garments. Note: Only smaller sizes available.
PAXIES
Goal: "Normalize different." All-in-one boxers great for packing. Wide size range from XS to 6X!
DIY Harness Options
On a Budget?
Option 1: Sew elastic fabric straps together — wrap around waistline and attach straps around packer's testicles.
Option 2: Make a harness from old boxers — separate waistband, create a pouch from remaining material with a hole for the shaft, sew to waistband.
🎓Practical Tips to Get You Started
We understand how frustrating the first days of learning might feel. Here are essential tips to help you adjust:
🌟 Essential Packing Tips
📏Right Size Matters
Big isn't always best. The right size is what suits YOU. Comfort provides more confidence than size.
🩲Specialized Underwear
Consider underwear with special packer pouches. They provide assurance your packer stays in place all day.
⏰Give Yourself Time
Don't expect to feel amazing right away. Wear it around the house first.
Always remember: The way YOU feel matters more than what others think. Only you decide which option works best. Learning how to wear a packer might be frustrating at first, but once you get used to it — you'll feel more like yourself. Wear your packer with pride! 💜
