As much as I truly want to savour and enjoy this game I constantly keep dying and find my brain tricking me by thinking im still getting a walk through of the game. I want to 100% this game but im generally just a terrible player. I love the whole vibe that this game gives off but I just cant play well enough to PROGRESS. Hell, I would even like a fresh start. is there any tips to improve and not get CUCKED every two moves of my figurine? < > Showing 1-15 of 24 comments StayPuftMM View Profile View Posts 13 Mar, 2022 @ 11:46pm What part of the game are you on? #1 Jappa View Profile View Posts 14 Mar, 2022 @ 12:01am

Well I don't even know? I know this is like a linear story based game but I honestly thought there would be some contrast between tutorial and game-play. I appreciate the linearity but its almost too smooth for me. I've died 3 or 4 times if that defines anything? other than me just being trash :steammocking: #2 PhilipDraco View Profile View Posts 14 Mar, 2022 @ 12:17am "Thin to Win" is generally the go-to strategy. Try to make 2-3 AMAZING cards, and keep the deck small through sacrifices, sigils transfers, and fireplaces. The less cards you have, the more likely you'll get the card that will carry you through.Presuming that you're in the Cabin, complete every puzzle you can, and poke everything. Candle fires, the safe, any slide-puzzles, and try to solve the mystery of the picture frames and, eventually, the cuckoo clock. A few of them are needed to get to the next section, and they'll always give you a boost.Important things include Free caged animals, Use items liberally, and Squirrels can be used to block in a pinch. If all else fails: Oroborus has a secret trait that is OBSCENELY overpowered. Good luck out there. (‾-ƪ‾)ゞ Last edited by PhilipDraco; 14 Mar, 2022 @ 12:18am #3 Jappa View Profile View Posts 14 Mar, 2022 @ 12:22am

I appreciate your time in replying. So next time I die I should strategically select which pathway and keep a small amount of powerful cards in my deck? I like that idea. Right now I'm considering refunding to attempt dark souls.... but maybe I should pursue. #4 StayPuftMM View Profile View Posts 14 Mar, 2022 @ 1:01am I looked at your achievements and you're in the beginning still. You want to focus on finding items around the cabin. Completing the card game is only one part of the progress. Don't worry about losing games. #5 Jappa View Profile View Posts 14 Mar, 2022 @ 1:03am

Thank you. I'll persist and give it another go! :demoticon: #6 StayPuftMM View Profile View Posts 14 Mar, 2022 @ 1:11am If you lose a couple runs of the game without finding any new items you'll get a hint about what to look at next. If that doesn't help you get unstuck there's always walkthroughs or asking here. #7 Dougomite View Profile View Posts 17 Mar, 2022 @ 2:11pm Yeah sounds like your still early in the game. Just keep learning the cards and hunt for some powerful card power combos to create and which map locations are going to give you the best bonuses. When you find what works, you'll start stomping Leschi's decks with overwhelming force. #8 musicalcakes View Profile View Posts 17 Mar, 2022 @ 4:56pm Because of the way the "HP" works with the scale, you want to focus on having a good offense over a good defense. It's easy to be distracted by the enemy cards, but if you instead always keep in mind how much damage you need to do to win, you can sometimes just ignore what's on the enemy side of the field and blow him up with direct damage. Don't be afraid to use an item if it will help you win! Also, finding sigil combos you like will help a lot in shaping your deck. One of my personal faves is touch of death+bifurcated strike, so I tend to pick up an adder when I get the chance and sac it to add its ability to a mantis. Now I have a touch of death card that's cheaper AND twice as good! Cost in general is a big thing to keep in mind, make sure you can actually play the cards you have. Cat+black goat is another fun combo that'll help with that! When it comes to exploring the cabin, simply try everything. Click on anything clickable, test out every item, and keep an eye out for any hints! Some things are "hidden" but the game does want you to find them, so a reasonably curious player will be able to find everything important. :) #9 Cruxin View Profile View Posts 17 Mar, 2022 @ 7:23pm People lose the first section way more than 3 or 4 times #10 Blueheaven View Profile View Posts 18 Mar, 2022 @ 2:34pm

If you are thinking of playing any dark souls game be aware that the servers are down and there is no estimate to when they will be fixed. That means no multiplayer so you will have to do everything solo, which you may be ok with, but you might want to wait until they at least have a guesstimate on the fix date, Last edited by Blueheaven; 18 Mar, 2022 @ 2:35pm #11 Jappa View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2022 @ 9:27pm I've decided to refund. I just cant find joy in this game, maybe im not cut out for it. I know I probably haven't given it enough time but honestly this game just feels a bit over hyped, especially if it wants more casual or newer players. The sense of being unguided was not enjoyable and I understand that's the point but, it didn't work well with how the game works. I may leave a review although I do think this game is good it just isn't really interesting to spend my time playing :( #12 StayPuftMM View Profile View Posts 21 Mar, 2022 @ 9:31pm k #13 Radene View Profile View Posts 22 Mar, 2022 @ 4:39am Well, if you're not enjoying it, the only right decision is to stop and instead do something you do enjoy, so no harm no foul with refunding. Last edited by Radene; 22 Mar, 2022 @ 4:40am #14 zhizao32 View Profile View Posts 22 Mar, 2022 @ 7:37pm You know, it is actually required you to die at least 3 times to even progress the game.I mean literally, One of the items that is required for the clock puzzle won't even appear if you haven't died at least 3 times, and the clock puzzle is a necessary step in progressing the game (Remembering the code doesn't work since it won't open if you do not have such item even when you get the code right) , so it is normal to die a lot, especially at the beginning process of the game. If you dislike the difficulties or the game play, you may want to refund or find other ways to make the game easier, for example, installing some mods. #15 < > Showing 1-15 of 24 comments Per page: 1530 50 Inscryption > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 13 Mar, 2022 @ 11:40pmPosts: 24 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
