I wanted to know how many rakat are we obligated to pray in each prayer? 25 Mar

Fard: Fajr 2 Thuhur 4 Asr 4 Maghrib 3 Isha 4.

Sunnah: They are 12 in number. 2 before Fajr, which the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had never left even when he was travelling. 2+2 before Thuhur and 2 after Thuhur. 2 after Maghrib 2 after Isha.

Witr : 1 or 3 or 5…..
