The Xeno'jiiva can only be fought in the Confluence of Fates, a special map in the Elder's Recess. The fight will have 2 phases, one happening in Area 2 and the 2nd phase happening in Area 3.
Complete Main Story To Unlock Xeno'jiiva Quest
You'll only encounter Xeno'jiiva after you've finished the main key quests in Monster Hunter World. After a series of cutscenes, you'll gain access to the ★9 mission "Land of Convergence" where you have to fight the Xeno'jiiva.
