Students graduating from New York City Department of Education (DOE) Schools should indicate their OSIS identification numbers on the application. In most cases, CUNY will be able to obtain the high school record electronically. However, if the applicant attended a public charter school or graduated more than 7 years in the past, then the guidance counselor will need to send a current transcript to CUNY either electronically or by mail. In addition, students who attended any non-DOE high schools prior to graduating will also need to provide CUNY with transcripts from those previously attended institutions.
