The cloud service Dropbox has released a new application for the Redmond operating system Windows 10. The app can be installed from the Microsoft Store directly. However, the new application is currently only available to users who have registered for the Insider program. The App is likely to be available for all in the coming days.

With the Dropbox app, users have the option of syncing their files with the cloud and making backups. As WindowsBlogItalia reports, the full version of the application has now appeared in the Microsoft Store. At the moment, the app only seems to support x86 and x64 systems and not yet ARM processors.

Store app previously designed for S mode

There has been another version of the cloud service for Microsoft’s operating system in addition to the Dropbox desktop application. However, the app was designed for the S mode of Windows 10 and therefore not of great importance for most PC users. The new app, now published in the Microsoft Store, is based on the full-fledged desktop application, which can also be obtained from the Dropbox website. The new Dropbox application for Windows 10 can be found in the official Microsoft StoreFind. At the moment, however, the app is still a beta version that can only be downloaded by a limited group of users. The app requires that the user has at least Windows 10 Build 20197 installed on his computer. It is therefore necessary to register with the Windows Insider program before the download can start. The app may then be offered with Windows 10 version 21H1 for all users of the Redmond operating system.
