    LAPD officer under investigation for allegedly taking cash from unlocked Tesla

    An LAPD official said an investigation is underway after video footage showed an officer from the Transit Services Division enter a Tesla while responding to a call for service. The vehicle’s owner reported missing $700, which the officer said he intended to book into evidence.
