Use your website to sell merch directly to your fans, commission-free. If you’re looking to sell merch with a print-on-demand, dropshipping service, Printful provides just that.

With no upfront costs, and no inventory to manage, selling Printful products through your Bandzoogle store is a sustainable option which integrates seamlessly into your website’s design. This integration is available for Pro plan members.

Connect Printful to your Bandzoogle store

To connect your Bandzoogle ‘Store’ feature to the Printful store of your choice, you can follow these steps. Once you have successfully connected to Printful, your products will continue to sync unless you disconnect the integration.

Note: When you create your Printful store, be sure to select the ‘Manual order platform/API’ option, which works best with Bandzoogle.

  1. From the “Selling Tools” tab, click ‘Settings’ on the left and then click ‘Printful’
  2. Click ‘Connect to Printful’
  3. Log in to your Printful account
  4. Choose the Printful Store you’d like to connect to and then click the ‘Authorize’ button to allow Bandzoogle access to the store’s products. If you only have one Printful account created, you’ll go straight to the authorization step.

Notes:

  • In your Printful account, be sure that your Printful Store currency is set to the same currency as your Bandzoogle Payment Settings.

  • As of July 1, 2021, Printful will add VAT for orders shipped to the EU. This tax will be automatically applied to your Printful fulfillment charge - you can build this fee into your item’s final price to account for the charge.   • If you’d like to sync Shopify items, create a new store in Printful and add your Shopify product templates in the Printful store. You can then connect this store to Bandzoogle following the same steps listed above.

Adding Printful products to your Bandzoogle Store

Once you’ve synced your Printful account in your Store feature, you'll need to add the products you’ve created in Printful by following these steps:

  1. In your Bandzoogle ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be working
  2. Click ‘Add feature’
  3. Select the ‘Store’ feature and use the placement arrows to set the feature’s location
  4. Click ‘Add product’
  5. Click ‘Use Printful product’ in the ‘Add product’ options
  6. Click ‘Add’ next to the synced Printful product(s)
  7. The product will be added to your Bandzoogle 'Store' feature
  8. Click ‘Back’ to see the product(s) in your store's list of items

Note: We can’t see if you add new products or make new changes to existing products within Printful in future. As such product updates in Bandzoogle are not done automatically when you make any changes to your Printful.com account - you will need to ‘re-sync’ items to update your Printful items in Bandzoogle.

To re-sync, head to Selling Tools > ‘Printful’ options in the Bandzoogle ‘Store’ feature and click ‘Sync from Printful’. Existing products will be updated, and new products to add to your store will appear in your ‘selling tools’.

Products deleted from your Printful account will be removed from your Bandzoogle Store on the next sync.

Printful product sync issues

Having trouble with Printful products not displaying as an option in your Store feature? Here are things to keep in mind when troubleshooting a solution:

  • Try refreshing your Printful product list by performing a manual sync.
    • To perform a manual sync, click on your Bandzoogle ‘Selling Tools’ tab > ‘Settings’ > ‘Printful’ > ‘Sync from Printful’.
  • Certain items such as jewelry and specific brands like adidas®, Columbia®, or Champion® are not supported through Printful's integration.

Adding Printful products to your Bandzoogle store using the embedded designer

You can also design your products directly in your Bandzoogle Store feature by using the embedded product designer. To add your products, follow these steps:

  1. Click 'Selling Tools' and either click 'Products'>Add a product or click 'Add product' next to a store listed in your dashboard

  2. At the top of the 'Choose a product type' window, click 'Get Started' in the 'Print on Demand' banner

  3. Choose the product type that you want to design.These can be filtered by different product categories on the left

  4. In the 'Design your product' window, there are tools on the left and a preview window showing the product on the right:

Tools:

Product- where you can set your variations like colour and size options

Layers- elements of your design can be layered on top of each other, like text, files or clipart. You can adjust the order of, select, and delete your different design layers here

File- where you can upload a custom design image, like a PNG or JPG

Text- add text to your print design

Clipart- search and add clipart to your product design

Fill- fill in the printable area of your design with colors or stock images

Preview:

Design/Preview toggle- switch between design mode where you can edit your design, and the preview mode to view how your mockups will display.

Preview window- where you can view and drag / drop different design elements in print areas of your product. May include ‘Transform’, ‘Position’, ‘Crop’ and ‘Pattern’ options for your design elements.

Once you have completed your design, click 'Save and review'

Note: A unit cost will display, but this can be adjusted in the next step after you design.

5.Confirm your product-this is a general overview of your items design and a preview of pricing and details. Click ‘save and continue’ to edit pricing and details next

6.Update your product details:

Product title- the name of your product

Description- Details about your product, like material information, weight etc.

Status- set if this item is available, unavailable, or hidden

Published in- determines in which specific store on your site this product will be available for sale. Click ‘edit’ to change or add this item to more stores on your site

Pricing- Printful provides a ‘base’ price for your item(s). This is the suggested cost to produce and ship (taxes not included) with a slight profit. You can adjust the price here if you need to increase the profit amount

7.Click 'Save Product'

How to edit your Printful product

For products imported from Printful:In the Bandzoogle Store feature, you’ll be able to edit your product description and availability only. To edit your product type, title, and pricing please head to your Printful account. To edit the product description, follow these steps:

  1. Click on your ‘Store’ feature
  2. In your list, click on the Printful product
  3. Click into the ‘Description’ field and make adjustments
  4. Click ‘Save product’

For products created through the Printful embeded designer:

  1. In 'Selling Tools'>click on'Products'>Click the item in the products list
  2. In Edit product, update the product title, description, status, published in, pricing and pricing variation.
  3. To edit the product's color and size variations, click the 'Edit' link on the upper right
  4. In the 'Design your product' window, edit the product colors/sizes and other design elements.
  5. Click 'Save'
  6. When finished click 'Save product'

Note: Editing the color and size variations will reset the price variation back to the default % increase above cost. Design changes affect the item’s production cost, so you’ll have to review and update the variation pricing again.

How to receive payments for your Printful products

When you connect a Printful product to your Bandzoogle store the price of the product reflects the fulfillment cost (Printful Price) plus your profit -- the ‘Retail Price.’

You will receive the ‘Retail Price’ payment through the payment processor you’ve connected in your Bandzoogle ‘Payment Settings.’

To ensure your Printful products are fulfilled speedily, you’ll want to head to your Printful account and connect a payment source for the product fulfillment in your ‘Wallet.’

Note: If you have applied a ‘Discount Code’ in your Bandzoogle Store feature, the discount will also apply to your added Printful products.

Using Actions to edit, share, or remove your Printful items

The ‘Products’ menu in your ‘Selling Tools’ tab will display a list of all the store items you’ve created in your Bandzoogle account. This is where you can easily access your Printful items to edit, share, or delete them. To find your Printful items, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Selling Tools’ tab at the top of your screen. In your Bandzoogle ‘Store’ feature,
  2. Click ‘Products’ in the menu of options on the left
  3. In the product filter dropdown click ‘Printful’ to view a full list of all your synched items/products created through the embedded designer

Here you’ll see an ‘Actions’ prompt next to your listed Printful items. Click on the … icon to reveal the following ‘Actions’:

Edit: Navigate to the Bandzoogle editing page for the item listed

Share: Share the item directly to Facebook, Twitter, Email, or copy the link to share the item to other platforms

Make unavailable: Item will display on your website but will include a 'Not available' note below the image

Make hidden: Allows you to add the product to your Bandzoogle account but won't display the item on your website until you change the status to 'available'

Remove: Remove the item from this ‘Store’ feature. You can still use the product elsewhere on the website. This option is available only if editing from within a Store feature, not from the Selling Tools>Products tab.

Delete: Delete this item from the synced Printful products in your Bandzoogle account. If the product was created through the embedded designer, this will delete the product from your Bandzoogle account entirely

How to disable Printful

Disabling Printful will hide the synced products from your Bandzoogle store. You can re-enable Printful at a later date to start selling Printful products again. To disable Printful products, follow these steps:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be adding your items
  2. Click ‘Add feature’
  3. Select the ‘Store’ feature and use the placement arrows to set the feature’s location
  4. In the feature options on the left, click on the ‘Printful’ icon
  5. Toggle off the ‘Enabled’ switch
  6. Click ‘Disable’ on the pop-up prompt

How to disconnect from Printful

Disconnecting from Printful will deactivate the connection and remove any Printful products from your store. Use this option if you no longer want to sell products through Printful, or if you want to connect a different Printful Store. To disconnect from your Printful store, follow these steps:

  1. From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ and open the page on which you’ll be adding your items
  2. Click ‘Add feature’
  3. Select the ‘Store’ feature and use the placement arrows to set the feature’s location
  4. In the feature options on the left, click on the ‘Printful’ icon
  5. Click ‘Disconnect’ in the bottom left corner of the Printful area
  6. Click ‘Disconnect’ in the pop-up prompt

Printful fulfillment and shipping

Printful offers global fulfillment, with facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. When your fan purchases a Printful item from your Store, Printful routes the fulfillment to the nearest facility to ensure the fastest delivery.

Printful offers international shipping for your fans. The Printful shipping rate will be automatically applied during checkout from your Bandzoogle Store and will be included in the checkout total. Learn more in the Printful Help Center.

Note: Printful will charge your Printful ‘Wallet’ for the price of fulfillment and shipping immediately, e.g. your upfront costs.

Printful does not deduct the fulfillment and shipping cost from your payment processor. Please review your payment processor’s payout policies.
