How to use

Remove aligners/retainers and rinse under tap water.

Place aligners/retainers into a cleaning container and fill with enough warm water to immerse the aligners/retainers fully. Add one packet of cleaning crystals.

Gently shake/agitate for 20 seconds to dissolve and distribute crystals.

Let stand for 15 minutes, or more if you prefer. Gently shake/agitate again for 20 seconds.

Rinse the aligners/retainers and container thoroughly with warm water.

What is the difference between Invisalign Cleaning Crystals and Invisalign Cleaning System?
Both come with 50 packets of Invisalign Cleaning Crystals. The Invisalign Cleaning System includes the cleaning tub while the Invisalign Cleaning Crystals does not.
What’s the best way to clean my aligners?
The best way to clean your Invisalign aligners is to use Invisalign Cleaning Crystals. You can also clean your aligners using a soft toothbrush with mild toothpaste and lukewarm water. Be sure to rinse and dry them before inserting them into your mouth.
Can I use similar Acceledentor products with Invisalign?
These products are not manufactured or provided by Align Technology, so we are not able to comment or advise on these products. We recommend Invisalign Cleaning Crystals or brushing with mild toothpaste and rinsing thoroughly.
My aligners are discolored/stained/yellow. What happened?
In some cases, mints or menthol candies may stain your aligners/retainers, so avoid eating these when wearing aligners. Be sure to clean the aligners/retainers with either mild toothpaste or Invisalign Cleaning Crystals. We do not recommend cleaning your aligners with mouthwash or denture cleaners as we cannot guarantee the use of these product won't dull or damage the product surface.

When I first signed up to have my teeth re-straightened with Invisalign, the app would not work because I didn’t have some special “code” to see the website. When my packet of trays finally arrived, the dentist gave me several items including a little package of crystals. She also said that soaking the trays in Hydrogen-peroxide would clean them. That was easier, but when I had reached the last set and was waiting for the next sets, that last set was getting really dull with coffee stains. When the large package of crystals finally arrived there were no directions for use. I finally found the little package I had received with the first set of trays. I used one of those packets of crystals and tried to follow the instructions. I didn’t have a container with “fill lines” and just used a little Pyrex bowl. After soaking and rinsing, there was an unpleasant taste chlorine in my mouth. I removed the trays and used a toothbrush to try to get any residue remaining from the soaking in the crystal-water. The trays do appear to be cleaner and there is no longer an unpleasant taste.Today I have an appointment to get my next set of trays and will discuss the experience with my dentist. I plan to give the crystals another chance.

Followed directions precisely and the retainers still had residue and build up on them. I clean them using the crystals every other day as instructed by by my orthodontist.
