Really enjoying the character designs and overall aesthetics in Code Vein.Io on the other hand is an absolute eye sore! I enjoy using her as a partner (great synergy with my play style), but I hate looking at her ridiculous oversized anime tiddies and the annoyingly revealing scraps she's wearing.Anyone know of a mod or some way to either replace her model or at least update her outfit to be actual clothing?Disclaimer: I generally have no problem with NSFW content, it's just that Io really bothers me for some reason. It's the worst kind of fan service imo. I'm not complaining about the game. I very much enjoy it. This is just a minor gripe. < > Showing 1-15 of 82 comments Xi Jinpooh, Lord of Man-Jynuhs View Profile View Posts 12 Jan, 2021 @ 6:08pm https://www.nexusmods.com/codevein #1 「Lukja」 View Profile View Posts 13 Jan, 2021 @ 8:23am BOOBA #2 Elvi View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2021 @ 12:26am If that's what you'd call NSFW, you'll be shocked when you see the internet... Honestly, if you said this in reverse it would be far too accurate. It's the things weebs like you and I have become desensitized to that should never be shown in public. You'd be shocked as to what's outside of social norms if you get off the internet... or go outside. :lunar2020playfuldog: #4 Elvi View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2021 @ 7:53am 1 1

I'm sorry, you just came off a little "Look at the damn wh*re, showing the whole ankle!" to me, but "I have become desensitized to that should never be shown in public." really didn't help with that creeping feeling. Like you know, how you asked about mods, despite knowing where to find mods (Because if you say you never heard of the Nexus or even just Google, I don't believe you), almost as it wasn't about that at all, and more about the "social commentary". There's even name for that. Something about signals? But hey-ho, like it matters, it's all in good fun. If it really bothers you enough and often as it sounds, you can actually quite easily learn how to swap body/clothing models without any prior modding knowledge and you could swap her body model for the researcher lady who is fully clothed, or any other character. Even other games for that matter. No need to be a modeller or anything either. I believe you can find guides on that on the Nexus as well. As a side bonus, you'll know how to do the same for most Unreal engine games if you learn it for one, which is quite fun and good thing to be able to do on your own. #5 Dr. Atrocious View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2021 @ 8:28am

I couldn't find any mods or guides which allow me to prevent hand holding either. Disgusting. Any suggestions?https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2358927510 #6 Elvi View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2021 @ 11:24am

Indeed - guard yourself well, be carefull - I heard bad stories about what happens to people in amish communities that are discovered owning and using a computer. You found the ones for Io tho? I do know there are at least 3 that give her various types of clothes on the main clothing page of Nexus. From memory, I know you can at the very least choose sweater and leggins or a ceremonial dress... More, if you go bacwards through the listings.Isn't this awkard tho? The world is currently such a clown reality that I'm not 100% sure if you are joking or not about the handholding. #7 Dr. Atrocious View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2021 @ 11:45am

Don't blame the world for your degeneracy, heathen.Anyway, yeah I'm either going with the dress or the nude Io. #8 Elvi View Profile View Posts 15 Jan, 2021 @ 1:00pm

Emperor looks down on you, as does the Ordo Hereticus. But there are good mods for the latter for sure. For the MC too. Not I would know.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEGo41443iI #9 Dr. Atrocious View Profile View Posts 18 Jan, 2021 @ 1:00pm

what a child, pff.
Come on. It's not my fault your waifu is trash. #10 Raiseo View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2021 @ 11:27am The dude has a point, I've recently started the game and I couldn't take Io seriously for one minute because of the giant tiddies with the revealing scraps.I mean, if I were to flash this in my office (granted no one goes to the office right now) that really wouldn't fly, which what makes this NSFW by definition.Let's be honest here guys, anyone who pretends this is not blatant fan service for weebs is either blind, a fool, or just kidding themselves. All in all, thanks for pointing me to the nexus and thanks for coming to my Ted talk, peace. :papyruswacky: #11 warlok View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2021 @ 3:30pm

You're saying that as if fan service is something bad. If Io's outfit caused some issues with the plot you could have a point, but this isn't the case. At best you could argue that it's odd, that people at the base couldn't find some spare outfit for her. #12 Razorman45 View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2021 @ 7:01pm

Easy there, Genghis. Nobody's preferences regarding a bunch of pixels are gonna stunt your figurative game. #13 Razorman45 View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2021 @ 7:20pm

It's serious business
About as serious as everybody listening to Kanye West's bipolar rants. #14 Dr. Atrocious View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2021 @ 7:56pm

Not all fan service is good fan service. Io has the personality of a rock because all of it went into her "moo moo mummy milkies". #15 < > Showing 1-15 of 82 comments Per page: 1530 50 CODE VEIN > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 12 Jan, 2021 @ 6:06pmPosts: 82 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
