At some point I was asked if I wanted to link my iPad/iPhone for phone calls and answered yes. I no longer want that option. I have followed the instructions I have found here: Go to SETTINGS, FACETIME and say no to iPad answer phone. Does not work as I do not have that option.
So on my iPhone 6 with iOS 12.4.8 I go to SETTINGS, FACETIME and see 1 option only - FACETIME, ON/OFF. It is OFF.
I go to SETTINGS, PHONE, and I see 1 option only - ALLOW CALLS ON OTHER DEVICES, it is OFF.
I go to SETTINGS, PHONE, CALL FORWARDING and I see 1 option only, CALL FORWARDING, it is OFF.
On my iPad Mini with iPadOS 13.6.1
I go to SETTINGS, FACETIME and I see 1 option only - FACETIME people can contact you on all devices. It is OFF.
I see nothing applicable in iCloud.
I see nothing applicable in Cellular Data.
In NOTIFICATIONS, FACETIME is OFF.
Also for some reason when I sign in to iCloud it says "A new device is trying to sign in in Colorado instead of in Arkansas which is where I am. I find this unbelievable in this day and age of GPS tracking. It should not be this hard. Thanks

- Can’t fix ‘iPhone calls not available, your iPhone must be signed…… make calls from this iPad.’ I had connected my iPad Pro(Wi-Fi model) to my iPhone 12mini just yesterday to receive and call from iPad, it worked then but after a day it won’t call or receive any call saying that ‘iPhone calls not available,…’ during that one day period I disconnected my iPad from the Internet and turned off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on iPhone (it was turned on on iPad). FaceTime is working on both though, I just can’t receive or call from iPad. I tried signing out and signing back-in in FaceTime from both the devices, I tried resting the network settings on iPad, I tried flight mode on both of the devices, I connect them on hotspot and on a same Wi-Fi network. They are logged in with the same Apple ID. How do I fix that. 2190 1
- Calls to me are automatically declined when I answer on ipad (on Facetime) I have the option to answer calls on Facetime turned on in settings for my ipad (latest ios). Incoming calls ring, but when I answer I briefly see 'call declined' and then get an error saying the call failed. I am (obviously) *not* intentionally declining calls- the ipad seemingly decides to decline them all within a few seconds of the call connecting. This happens no matter who the caller may be (unknown, in my contact list, nearby, far away, etc.) My iphone shows that I had an incoming call ( for 3 to 10 seconds). This happens when the iphone is nearby and on wifi, and when it's on cell, so that doesn't seem to be a factor. Any ideas / tips / things to try? Thanks in advance 2854 2
- Phone won’t allow FaceTime calls to go through I got an iPad a month ago and in the last week my phone stopped letting me make FaceTime calls. When I receive a FaceTime and answer, the person that called is unable to see or hear me. When I make the call it never goes through. When I try on my iPad FaceTimes come in and go out just fine. 1923 1

As you can see in my original post I found nothing applicable in SETTINGS-CELLULAR-CALLS ON OTHER DEVICES. I spent an hour on the phone yesterday with Apple Support and it was not simple matter of toggling a switch on or off. The app was providing conflicting information. In the end we went back to basics, ie if the app is not doing what it is supposed to do shut down the unit. If that doesn't work then uninstall and reinstall the app. That is what worked. Thanks

Hi ghg1953,
Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you are unable to turn off the option to make and receive phone calls from your iPad. It sounds like you'll need to tap Settings > Cellular > Calls on Other Devices, and turn off the option there as well.
- Make and receive phone calls on iPad
Cheers!
