19 Dec, 2015 @ 1:50pm Irrigating Industrial Cooker Has anyone managed to hook their industrial cooker up to water. I snapped it to a pipe and it still says not irrigated. *My water system is a closed system *******WITHOUT AN INTAKE PIPE****** to irrigate the tanks. I collect all my water through rain or snow. All the irrigation pieces are made of metal**edit Did some testing in singleplayer. Industrial Cooking Pot works when attached to water intake, but not if it is hooked up to a system that is fed by Water Tanks alone. 19 Dec, 2015 @ 2:50pm i was able to irrigate it, but when its done, the cooker inventory is blocked off.if i destroy the verical pipe in the middle, it stop being irrigated but the cooker water reserve stay at 1000. also, whenever i reconnect the cooker, it light up automaticly.look like a bug to me. otherwise it make the cooker quite a pain to use. #1

19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:07pm I dont want to use horizontal pipe, but a vertical. I have placed mine with an horizontal in order to find the perfect place, now I want to change it to vertical. Has anyone tried demolishing the horizontal (after having added the vertical first) pipe? #4

19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:13pm I just managed to irrigate the industrial cooker with a tap close by. It didn't work with a stone tap the metal tap did the trick tho. *BUT DO NOT PUT ANY CANTEENS IN THE TAP* they will break permanently. Here is a link to the screenshot of my cooker setup. #7

19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:15pm Just to clarify I am using all metal pipes and tanks. Also once again I know the industrial cooker works when hooked to a system with an intake pipe. I've established that already. I'm curious if anyone with a closed system that only uses Water Tanks has gotten the industrial cooker to accept water from it. My only water sources is the water I add to the tank myself or when it rains/snows. Last edited by JC; 19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:17pm #8

19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:53pm Hm, did it like thisHad no problems (irrigating does function and I can open the cookers inventory)http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/397805114599056681/4EFDAD1391A33266ABDC8C22B325F2E246A4665F/ Last edited by sAd; 19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:53pm #9

19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:53pm ok, well thanks all for the comments and suggestions. I'm giving up on this for now. Maybe the developers designed it this way intentionally or they'll probably release a hotfix for it sometime in the near future. Either way whatevs. I'll post a bug report and stick to the primitve cooking pot for now. #10

20 Dec, 2015 @ 3:15pm I also have a tank system. I tried placing it on a slopped pipe and it wouldn't irrigate. Then I found this and saw people talking about only horizontal pipes working so I placed a new pipe and it still wouldn't work. I even replaced the cooker it self on the new pipe still no luck. I really hope the devs fix this so it will run off a tank system. I have over 40 metal tanks There is plenty of water to fill it up. #15 < > Showing 1-15 of 43 comments Per page: 1530 50 ARK: Survival Evolved > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 19 Dec, 2015 @ 1:50pmPosts: 43

I was about to destroy the cooker and see if it will hook back on to the pipes much like a generator does (although it didnt used to which makes me sceptical lol).Any1 else post their experiences or have a solution?*UPDATE* I just demolished the middle pipe and instead have a pipe going from the bottom only at floor level. Now works as intended. Last edited by dArK; 19 Dec, 2015 @ 3:23pm #2
Originally posted by Martin:Do NOT put a vertical pipe in middle.Put a Horizontal Pipe, at floor level, into the back of the middle of the cooker. Do not put a tap on it yet. Run pipe to watersource. Then add tap.It should read 1000/1000 water (irrigated)If it reads 0/1000 water (irrigated) Empty cooker, including any fuel thats in it. It should then work correctly.I tried it from freshly spawned items. It still wouldn't work, but I'll give it another go in the exact order you listed. Last edited by JC; 19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:03pm #3

Originally posted by Martin:Does not work. Just to make sure we are on the same page. You do understand that I am trying to hook it to a closed system without an intake pipe. It only has access to the water tanks I have connected to it. #6Originally posted by CypherGamez:I tried it from freshly spawned items. It still wouldn't work, but I'll give it another go in the exact order you listed. It was a major issue for me at first, but the horizontal pipe that fits into the back, will snap to the cooker, it will be slightly "in" the floor, like cable wire is when placed. After that it's straight forward.

Originally posted by sAd:Yup I can't do that in my scenario. Unless intake pipes can suck water out of rocks. #13Originally posted by CypherGamez:Does that system use an intake pipe or just water tanks?
