I'm assuming UCF is the University of Central Florida? And if that is the case, I would say that 3.5 GPA and 1050 SAT would be fine for UCF, because while it is on the slightly lower side, according to their common data set, around 25% of their class has around a 3.5 GPA, and a 1050 SAT is just below what most of their students have. So, now I would say it's just writing very good essays and making sure you have good extra-curriculars.

Last year's class average for WGPA was 4.25 and the Average SAT score was 1325. While you do not meet these standards, it is still possible albeit a small chance that you might get accepted. I would use the CollegeVine chancing calculator and see what your chances are. I would think it would be around 15% so this would be a far reach school for you.

Good luck.

Hi @Gavin! Your SAT score is below the 25th percentile of accepted students' scores. That being said, your academic record is only one part of the application. If your extracurriculars and essays are very strong, it could make up for your slightly lower SAT and GPA. I recommend putting your information into the CollegeVine Chancing Engine to figure out if you are competitive + to figure out if there are some places you can improve. Here's a link: https://www.collegevine.com/schools/university-of-central-florida-ucf/chancing

Hope that helps!
