   Darth Sidious is only 1 inch taller than Darth Maul. Well, if you look at the Actor's heights anyway. Ray Park is 5'9, Ian McDiarmid is 5'10.

   there was a realy short guy dressed as Maul at a convention we called him : Mini Maul and sometimes Darth smaul. some times bad things come in small packages

    I also thought that when I first saw TPM. I mean, as someone said Sidious is short as well, but really Sidious gives the impression of an old hunched over man, where being tall would have looked horrible. With Maul however, he was supposed to seem intimidating, like Vader, and the height really took that away from him.

    Hes much shorter than Nute, but I found that cool. The Neimoidians on either side of someone a head shorter, but way more menacing. Maul doesnt need height. He has the evil prescence Nute etc lack. Its just another detail to him, that he can scare the hell outta people, without being huge.
